Mickey's parents live in Del Mar, CA, and love the beach. We scheduled their newborn session when Mickey was 17 days old. He relucted to sleep at first, looked around, and definitely enjoyed the beach scenery. The waves were perfect that day. The sun was shining, and the breeze was just right. We decided to wrap him up for his session and he finally gave up and fell asleep. We prepared a few beach-themed props for his newborn photo shoot. The sailboat was his parent's absolute favorite. Mickey loved it too! He felt so cozy and comfortable sleeping on the boat. The sound of the waves crashing against the cliff was so soothing, and it helped him fall asleep quickly.
The best time for newborn pictures is the first two weeks after birth. ABL Photography takes a limited number of babies per month. Please reach out and reserve your spot during your second trimester to ensure availability for when your baby arrives.
