What to Wear for Your Photo Session:

Comfort is key, so opt for comfy clothes that make you feel at ease.

Consider going braless or without panties to avoid any visible lines.

You'll have the opportunity to choose your gowns during the session.

Nail Care Tips:

Showcase your nails by making sure they're done nicely.

If you prefer not to have professional nail service, simply ensure they're clean and free of debris or polish.

Dressing Tips for Your Spouse:

For a classic or formal look, have your spouse wear nice dress shoes with dark khakis or grey/black slacks, paired with a button-up shirt.

Adding a blazer is optional, depending on the level of formality desired.

If a more relaxed vibe is preferred, dark jeans can be worn with a black, tan, or white button-up shirt.

Capture timeless and memorable photos by dressing in your best and feeling comfortable throughout the session.

What should my child wear?

Need help deciding what to dress your child in? Send me any outfit options you have, or if you prefer to go shopping, I can provide guidance with photographs to make the process easier. I suggest bringing at least two outfits for maximum versatility.

How do I choose my gowns?

Choosing the perfect gown for your maternity session is easy and convenient. Instead of stressing about it, simply browse through our gallery of clients' favorite maternity dresses. When you come in for your session, you'll have the opportunity to try on any dress you love and I'll assist you in finding the right colors and sizes. Plus, you can have up to three outfit changes to ensure you look and feel your best.

Do I need to bring anything to my pregnancy session?

No need to worry about bringing anything! Our San Diego maternity studio has an extensive selection of gowns, robes, bodysuits, and jewelry for you to choose from. Just come in your comfortable clothes and focus on enjoying the experience. Plus, we always stock snacks and drinks in the studio for your convenience.

When is the best time for maternity photos?

The best time for a pregnancy photoshoot is around 29-34 weeks when your belly is already showing but not too close to your due date. Outdoor maternity sessions are typically scheduled 2 hours before sunset. Your studio maternity photo shoot will be scheduled in the early afternoon. You can combine both studio and outdoor maternity sessions together on the same day.

How far ahead do I need to book my pregnancy photo shoot?

Book now to secure your spot! The sooner, the better. Most clients book in their first trimester to guarantee availability. However, if necessary, the second trimester can work too, depending on my availability. Maternity sessions are scheduled between 29-34 weeks. Don't wait, reserve your session today!

Are sibling/family shots included?

Sibling and family shots are absolutely included in our services. We strongly encourage siblings and spouses to join the shoot, and there is no extra cost for their participation.

Can I request any specific poses?

Looking for pose recommendations? Absolutely! During your consultation, we'll discuss your vision and preferences. Feel free to browse my portfolio and share any photos that catch your eye. This will give you a better understanding of the gowns and help you become familiar with my unique style.
